I have an IBM Aptiva M53 P100 that I play both ICR2 and Nascar on. However, I
have never been able to configure the games for sound on my machine. When I
run the auto config program for digital sound, my computer locks up every
time. When it detects the addresses for my card, they are wrong compared to
those that all my other DOS games use:220,5,1. At first I thought it was a
result of too little memory, but I recently upgraded to 16 MB of RAM and it
didn't do any good. I contacted Papyrus' tech support and they weren't any
help either. The card I have is a soundblaster compatible Mwave sound card.
Has anybody else had this problem? Can anyone help me?!
Thanks,
Krep
