rec.autos.simulators

I've just downloaded the GPL demo, and it installed
sucessfully, but as soon as I fire it up, once it starts to load and just
as the start screen opens up, my computer (for some reason...) opens
Internet Explorer 4.0.  Then the demo shuts itself down....  ANYONE having a
problem similar to this????  Any remedies?

Edit the shortcut you use to start GPL (right click on Start, select Open,
double click on the folders until you see the shortcut for the Grand Prix
Legends demo; right click on it, and select Properties, then click on the
Shortcut tab).  At the end of the Target: line, add a space, then
-kpgpl.ini (as one word, no spaces), and click OK.

Which ever one you download, I have the OTHER track (as only one is included
in each demo) available for download on my site :

If you are new to GPL, make sure you read my GPL FAQ's.
If you have Windows 98, it is IMPERATIVE that you read the instructions on
my page to install the demos, as they WILL NOT work as is under Windows 98.
Follow the instructions exactly, and you'll be playing GPL in no time!
