Brilliant AI? That's why the AI cars are forever rear ending me?

Ahem, excuse me :o) GP3 seems, in my opinion, to have the the physics of a Formula One car
absolutly correct (not that I could say for sure, of course but I've seen them on telly
lots :)). The car has to be driven very precisely, it's quite a challenge, but when you do
a good lap, it really feels like a good lap. You can really attack the kerbs too, which is
fun and getting the power down without losing momentum is a real challenge! Another thing I
noticed is that I could weave the car form side to side to warm up my tyres and feel in
complete control; you can't do this in GP2!
I'm prolly not making any sense, but I'm very happy with my 1:17.432 I just set at
Montreal.

My personal hate about driving games AI is that they often stick to the
racing line - ignoring the fact that you've come alongside on the inside of
a corner...

I've said a couple of times on this group now GPL mayeb the best
simulation of a car. But GP3 is by far the best simulation of a race
that I have ever experienced the weather takes this game into a
different league from the rest.

Geez, I'm getting a bit fed up with all you GP3 - GC can do no wrong -
apologists. I'm talking about cars that rear end you just because you
are not going fast enough for their liking, not because I'm braking.
I'm talking about a Ferrari that rear ended me as I was leaving the
pits. I don't hate GP3, but I don't love it either. Can't even post
constructive criticism around here.

Maybe you should stay away from the racing line when you're leaving the pit ;-))
I really spend many hours with GP3 allready, and I nobody ever rear-ended my
car...
I did ran into some myself though....;-))
Roger
I can see that happening on occasion, but not in every race. Just like
every other race doesn't have rain in real life, but it does in GP3.
