I have tried to run demo but keeps crashing back to desktop after trying to
flash up a screen.  I thought I've tried a couple suggestions mentioned in
newsgroup for the fix for a radeon 8500 but no luck.  ANubody running with a
radeon 32meg ddr graphics card.  I sure would like to see what all the
hoopla is about.  For now guess I'll stick with GPL for my racing needs
(great sim)

Do you have this line in cfg.txt?

"Screen Res 3"

Try to change the number. My LFS exits if the number is 4 (1280X1024). I'm
not sure if this line is there the first time you start LFS tho.
There could be other things you could try changing in there also, like
"Start Windowed".
