CART qualifying in HDTV

Thank you, Mark Cuban!!

If you have DirectTV AND a hi-definition receiver/TV, CART's qualifying on
Friday and Saturday will be broadcast in HDTV on Channel 199 (HD NET)
http://www.racesimcentral.net/

I HOPE they use real digital cameras and not analog cameras w/scalers.  The
difference is noticeable.  Even my wife (a techno-phobe) can tell the
difference.  If they use digital cameras, the picture quality should be
superb and the sound is Dolby Digital 5.1.

Mark Cuban, the owner of HD NET and the Dallas Mavericks, is really try to
get HDTV on its feet.  This is fantastic!!

Boy, do I wish Time-Warner would get off of their collective lazy asses and start supporting this.  Here in Austin, we only have _2_ channels available in HD, and even then, you have to wait for 4 month months just to get their shitty HD receiver box.

Seriously considering dumping this AOL-*** company and nailing my Sony DSS system back to the side of the house...
