So what about that marshaling then?  I've seen AI flag marshalls do better!

Yes it was the worst marshalling I think I've ever seen in any form of
international motorsport. Sad thing is that one race disaster really stuffed
up the whole season since Colin Edwards was one of the victims. And can
anyone tell me what Jules was on about when he was talking about Foggy and
his friends and the whole commiserations bit. I'm downunder and don't have
Foxtel so I don't get anymore than the races. IE no gossip. And, is it only
me, or is Foggy always such a miserable ***. It's never him that's a
fault and he never has a good word to say about anyone or anything. If I was
the team manager I'd be sending him along to PR courses. Extremely
disappointing as an ex Brit living in Australia I'd like nothing more than
to root for him but I can't warm to him even though Keith and Jules seem to
love him to death. In my opinion someone needs to give him a good swift kick
in the bum. All this IMHO of course. :0)

worse marshalling i've seen was f1 at monaco when taki inoue came up on a
road car when he was on a quick practice lap, it nearly killed him, he
actually hit the damn car! 1995 i think that was, during the thursday
practice.

Actually it goes like this.

Taki had spun and stalled during the session so was being towed back to the
pits by a truck with his belts undone but luckily his helmet on. The course
car at Monaco that year was some tuned Renault Clio model and was driven by
a "famous" French rally driver (I forget his name).

Said rally driver proceeded to show his skills off around the track, came
around a bend and ran into the Arrows rolling it over. Taki suffered minor
injuries but nothing too serious luckily. Could have been much worse tho.

IMO being run over by a marshals car at the Hungaroring was much more
dangerous for Taki.

A Kawasaki blew its gut coming into turn one and left coolant on the track.
Colloant is hard to see, hence there were no oil flags at first. After a
few bikes fell off it was apparent that the track was slippery but the
marchals still didn't wave the oil flags or marks the spot with sand or
sawdust. Foggy was taking a more inside line and hence didn't slip on the
spot whilst others behind him lost their front end on it. Pathetic really.
Corser didn't do very wel in the first race because he used a 16.5' rear
and lost traction very early on. In the second he used a 17" and did a bit
better.

As a fellow brit living down under I can tell you it is the famouse whinge genes
with which we are born. I think a niece or something died so in this instance he
had a right to be emotional.

Channel 10's coverage is pathetic. They didn't even give the points standings at
the end. Foxtel is okay except for the comeentator love affair with Foggy.

Didn't get the full story either, but from what I heard it had been a
party/get together/something over at the Foggy house, and a 2 year old
girl drowned in their swimming pool.......
