Four times this has happened to me at Rockingham.
Specs: Soyo K7V Dragon Plus
256 MB Crucial PC2100
AMD 1.2/266FSB
Radeon 8500 retail/9008 drivers
Win98se
Nothing running in background, tried several different driver sets
(video), tried updating 4in1 drivers, no IRQ conflicts, etc., etc.

Anyone else having this problem?

P.S. caution doesn't usually come out before lap 50 or so.
Gonna try another track......

What kind of sound card do you have and are you using the most current
drivers for it?

Have you by any chance installed Moezilla's add-on spotter sounds?  If so,
that will do it for sure unless you make the suggested .ini file
adjustments.

The addon spotter sound is doing that. The simple fix for me was to
delete the "caution out" wav's. This fixed it right away.
