I find the understeer fine, it's just what I expected from the grooved
tires. Lots of understeer in the slow bits, like the complex at Silverstone
for example. And very fast through the fast bits due to the aerodynamic
downforce. Especially with those default setups that use quite a lot of
downforce. A change from GP2 is furthermore that the reaction to taking of
downforce is far bigger. Driving around monza with 2-5 is totally different
now.
There definitely is wheelspin in higher gears, in the rain it's still there
in 4th gear. And in dry conditions I manage wheelspin in 2nd gear easily.
The only thing I really hate is the behaviour on those damn curbstones. I
really hope this is a beta (a 7 months old on like Will said at the High
Gear forum), and that in the final release it's fixed. A good way of finding
out is to see whether those texture problems are still there at Hockenheim.
I know for a fact the under the pit driving at Spa is there anymore (it was
a big reported in a review bij de spelletjesgarnaal) so that points to a
more recent version.
