I have a Thrustmaster Pro wheel and Diamond Sonic Impace s90 sound card.  I
wanted to be able to switch between the driving wheel and my new Microsoft
Sidewinder Precision Pro Joystick without disconnecting the wheel and pluging
in the stick.  I bought a 'Y' connector.  Hooked up the wheel just to see if it
was going to work (didn't plug in the stick yet or even set it up).  The wheel
seemed to work until I tried to calibrate.  The calibration would not work.  Is
this a problem of having the 'Y' connector going into the sound card or ?.
Also I see that the Thrustmaster ACM card has two dual ports.  Anyone know
about this card? Will this card make it possible to hook up both wheel and
stick?

I don't know about that, but a Joyswitch allows you to connect into multiple
ports and switch between wheel & joystick by just turning a switch.

The second port is only for games that support two joysticks.  You will need a
Joyswitch to hook both up.

What the Y-cable does is split the dual joystick port on you soundcard
into 2 ports.  You can look into a joyswitch device (as already
mentioned).

As to the ACM card the second port is mapped to a different I/O address
(209 is the default I think).  Thrustmaster has a program that
supposedly allows racing games to use this 2nd port (though I haven't
tried it). ftp://208.129.210.78/pub/library/utils/raceptch.exe
