I can't get my hands on TOCA (by Infogrames?) and so I was very tempted
on picking up Sega's title Touring Car.  I believe there are on a
handful of cars (four to six cars if I'm not mistaken) and about four
tracks.  Has anyone seen or played this game?  I would like some
feedback before I make my decision whether to wait for TOCA or pick up
Sega's title.

Well, it's unanimous (sp?).  Sega's Touring Car sucks, BIG TIME.  Shame on
you Sega for wasting shelf space with this title.

And for anyone in the Toronto area, have any of you seen TOCA by
Codemasters in stores?

I own both TOCA and Sega Touring Car (it was on sale for $10 and I was
weak) and I say definitely wait for TOCA.  The Sega game is no where near
as good as TOCA.  TOCA has the real drivers, tracks, and cars and is a lot
of fun to bash fenders with the computer cars.  It makes the Sega game look
bad in comparison.  I'm not sure if TOCA is out in the US yet, but I found
my copy at a local shop that sells used titles and for some mysterious
reason there it was in the used section.  You could also try and mail order
from a place that imports games although the shipping might be pretty high.

"SEGA Rally Championship 2" and "Daytona USA 2 NASCAR" are  TRUSH IT
items too.

I'd like to race daytona in Papyrus NASCAR2 and 3.

I found TOCA at an Electronics Boutique at the local mall.  Normally I
avoid their overpriced stuff like the plague, but it was the only place
I could find it (and I got their only copy).

So far, it was money well spent...

Too much of a loner to join a team, at least for now, keeping an eye out

long(ish) dega, (yes I know, I`m turning into a degahead :-) or the
roadcourses almost every evening, btw The Pits is starting a new league
on TEN, with the usual "Pits touch" it should be something special, have
a look
