TM Grand Prix wheel

I was recently able to pick one of these up at an EB that was selling off thie
last one for 25 bucks so it seemed like a good deal. In general, I like it
quite a bit for a low price unit, and the paddle control is pretty easy to get
used to.

My question is: Is there an easy way to decrease to amount of resistance to
turning the wheel the farther it goes toward lock. I t feels like theres some
sort of *** bungee in there that lightly centers the wheel and then
stretches out the further you go.

I didnt want to take the bottom off if there isnt a way to decrease this.....

Yep *** bungee...  Check out Alison Hine's web page for more than you
ever wanted to know about "modifying" and improving your GP1.
