I am just now getting the dust off of Nascar racing after a way too long
hiatus. A while back I remember new car sets being available. I'm
wondering if there are any available and if so where I might be able to
find them.

Try the PITS sites for Nascar carsets. I recently got the 96
set from the USA site.
