Help with ICR2 windshield toggle

It  seems that the "W" toggle key no longer turns my windshield on\off
so right now I am windshieldless. Anyone else had this problem and is
there a way I can fix it without re-installing the whole game? Thanks.

If you have the Rendition version of ICR2, the windshields were removed
from the***pit view.  Why?  I have no idea.
