There is a preview of this at
http://www.racesimcentral.net/
pretty cool... Does anyone know anything about it?  *** is supposedly
making it (or at least publishing it), but I couldnt find anything about
it at ***s site...  Anyone know if this is a full sim or more along
the lines of a realistic arcade racer (like TOCA, based in reality with
real tracks and real drivers, but arcade damage and no setups)?
A full sim racing game like this would be great.  Arent these the types
of cars that race at LeMans?

Wow, that looks like good news!!
Don't know anything about the game design as such, but I can tell you that
Professional SportsCars are the ones that race at Daytona (24hrs!!),
Sebring(12hrs), and all around the U.S. and at Mosport, Canada.

There are a couple of classes that comprise PSC - hopefully they will ALL be
included in the game!
- World Sports Car - these are similar to the European FIA GT series
(formerly WEC)
- GT Series - these are (modified!) production models
GTS-1: Eligible cars include Oldsmobile Aurora, Porsche 911 Turbo,
Callaway C7R, Dodge Viper GTS-R.
GTS-2: Eligible cars include Callaway Corvette, Ford Mustang, Ferrari
550 Maranello.
GTS-3: Features slower cars such as Mazda RX-7, BMW, Nissan, etc.
- Speedvision Cup - Showroom stock series

These are the main series (there are a few others such as Ferrari Challenge,
Toyota Cup, etc.)

*** Interactive sponsors the GT-Series ONLY, so I have a feeling that the
game will only include the GTS1,2&3 cars. It would be a shame NOT to include
the World SportsCars, as I said, I don't think we will see them. Also, I am
not sure that the game will include Daytona (for the 24hr race), as Sega
holds the license to this track, AFAIK. Let's hope *** will get the
licenses for WSC and all the good tracks - this game definitely has a lot of
potential.

Really! I was VERY happy to see Road Atlanta in one or two of the screenshots.
I have done many a lap there in SCCA. Let's hope this thing has some realism in it!

Agreed!!

Not Quite. The WSC cars race in a series called International Sports
Racing Series here.

    GT1 (Europe): Toyota Gt-One, Porsche Gt1, McLaren F1GTR, Mercedes
CLK, Panoz etc.

The above is called Gt2 over here:)

My gut feeling too :(( The game was actually designed as a WSC game, my
friend Ed has an old AVIof the game, shows R&S', 333s .....
