I like driving Spa, too. I finally managed to make a setup that allows
for a full-throttle sweep through Eau Rouge on a fresh set of tires
(with rear wing at minimum, but also traction help, though.) All I can
say is WOOAAHHH! :)
After this year's Belgian Grand Prix, Niki Lauda was interviewed on
(the otherwise despicable) RTL TV. This is what he said about Eau
Rouge (translation from memory):
"Drivers in slow cars usually have no problem taking it at full speed,
because their cars simply lack power. With a competitive car, it's
quite different. ... When I was racing at Spa, I always told myself in
La Source: "This time, you're going through Eau Rouge full-throttle!",
but usually, I lifted my foot a bit from the pedal when I actually
arrived there. ... This curve is scary, and if you dared once to take
it full speed, it doesn't mean you will have less respect for it on
the next lap."
Well, I knew *exactly* what he's talking about, and that's meant as a
big compliment to GP2.
