How about making something blink when you
are on the rev limiter?

Since keeping track of the revs is of paramount
importance how about making the rev-bar,
including the numbers, a little bigger for
the final release?

Hi Doug!
That's why one of the options for the game is going to be a fuel
limitation.
Of course they could go the IRL route and get rid of turbos
altogether... :)

I usually don't follow up my own posts... But it shouldn't
say 'rev limiter' but *rev limit*. Ooopss!

Personally I don't have a problem at estimating the current revs
but my estimate may be off by 500. And since I don't know the
rev limit for the different engines I may short shift or shift
too late. In races you have to use all that you've got and by only
listening to the engine is no good idea in a competitive setting.
I don't have the time to look at the rev-bar while dicing with the AI.
If I had I wouldn't be much committed, would I?

I thought I was going to find a simulation in the ICR2 box
but it was a mirage! Its just another ICR GAME with only
SVGA graphics added to it. The best I can say for it is they
removed that crappy rain weather play seen in ICR.
