GP3 car jerks to the side

This is a GREAT drive! Unfortunately for me as I go down the straight and at
other times also, the car jerks to the side with an input that I didn't
initiate. This keeps putting me into wall or sign, even causing excursions
in turns. The 'spikes' can be seen in the retrieved lap info. They don't
always occur in the same place but sometimes there are also spikes in the
throttle at the same place.

This never happened to me in GP2 but I know it used to happen to others. Is
there a fix?

Hi Dennis,

try going to your Game Controllers panel, and find the option Poll with
interrupts enabled. Uncheck it and see if it helps.

There is an option in the config screen that talks about FF and
pulling to the left, check that box.

Gregor,
I just removed the 'check' from the box and drove a Quick Race.
The game is now, not just GREAT but also smooth, which means its now
FABULOUS!!  I also took a second off my best time[which is pitiful] in that
short run. I look to really getting the car setup right now and learning to
drive this beautiful, BEAUTIFUL game!

Thanks you very much!!

That box is for MSFF wheels which constantly pulled to the left in GP3
(rather than trying to centre), I doubt it would affect spiking.

do yourself a favour... if you have the bandwidth... there's a 100mb add-on
that gives you the 2001 cars/performance, and adds the sepang and
indianapolis tracks.... as well as updating the rest of the tracks to
2001-spec.... some of the touches are a bit amateur-hour... but few things
satisfy like hooking up a fast lap of sepang (my pick as the most difficult
track).

me too using win98se... uncheck the "poll-box" doesn't help.
