Wouldnt NT2003 be better for the new GT mod?

Seeing as it has analogue tacho's and proper damage, wouldnt it be better to
have the gt mod via NT 2003? Or an option to run it for those who have it.

  FWIU it will be possible to convert the new GTR2002 mod over to Thunder,
but since they are soooo far along in their conversion process, they will
use F1 2k2 as the base.  I think I read they will make a second version at a
later date that works with Thunder.
  I would rather see them get it out now properly for F1 2k2 than have to
backtrack and redo much of their work to get it ready for Thunder.
(But then I would also like working incar headlights for night LeMans, and
the two night V2 tracks updated for GTR...greedy little *** ain't I?)

I think the GT mod makes more sense for F1 2002 due to the tracks that
GT cars run on.  I'm more interested in CART mods and Craftsman Truck
mods for NT (both of which are in progress, I believe) and won't even
buy NT unless I hear for certain that those mods succeed.
