% I've had N2 since it came out and have played the heck out of it. I've gone
% away from it awhile with other things and went to play it last night and can't!
% I get the message, "Unable to start screen, possibly out of memory, or disk
% read error."
% Well, I don't need the CD and when I did there is nothing wrong with it. I
% have 32 megs memory and can run every game I own, which is probably around 100
% of them. I have tried a boot disk also and still get the same message.
% Any ideas?
This is an "unreliable" "catch-all" error report. There are many things
that could cause this problem. There could be a track installed in the
TRACKS directory that is not setup properly. Try running the program
with a call to the *exe file (not using the *bat files). Check and make
sure your calendar file is setup correctly. If all else fails, backup
your setups and any additional cars and try re-installing N2 along with
all of the patches.
