N2 Crashed --the game, not my car

I have run into a frustrating problem today and was wondering if anyone
else had had a similar problem.  I was practicing a Martinsville and
decided to wuit the game in normal fashion and load Win95 so I could D?L a
couple of setups.  After my download session, I quit to DOS and tried to
reload N2.  I get to see the Papyrus logo screen but shortly after I am
kicked out to DOS where a get a screen filled with code.  At the top of the
screen, there is a short message stating that I am either out of memory or
have a disk read error.  I don't think it is a memory problem since I can
still run another sierra memory hog (FBPro95) and I have re-installed N2
with the same results.

If anyone has any suggestions or info on this, I would greatly appreciate
it.

Thanks

I recently encountered this problem.  When you downloaded the setups,
you created a new track directory.  In my case, I downloaded a setup
for C***te.  The directory was miss spelled and it caused the
error.  You'll just have to drag and drop your .stg file into the
proper directory and delete the bad directory.  It took me several
hours to figure this out so hopefully I've saved you some time.
