Has anyone heard if nascar2 will allow you to change the tire pressure
during pit stops? This does not seem to be a diificult option to create
but it is one that I truely miss having in the original nascar. Thanks!!

Uhh, last time I ran nascar w/track pack you can change pressure on
pit stop. Hit F5, use space bar to toggle from one wheel to the next.
(currently selected will highlight in yellow) use enter key to toggle
whether or not tire is replaced or pressure changed, use < or > to
decrease/increase pressure. Voila' on your next stop it shall be done.

Darrell-

Have you read the manual for NASCAR? If you hit F5, you can change
pressure by using the < and > keys, and use the spacebar to change
between tires.

Umm, I thought you could change tire pressure during a pit in Nascar.
Correct me if I am wrong, but you change it with the F4 key. Now in the pit
they will change the tire, but you will get new pressure on the new tire.

You can change tire preasure on a pit stop in nascar.  It's the f5 key
selct the tire that you want to change the preasure in and use the
greater than and less than key to do it.

Good Grief, as CB would say,
Doesn't anyone read previous replies to a post before they reply
anymore :)

There are already 4 replies to this one after mine and they all say
the same thing.

Hmm maybe I'm not understanding you, But I've ALWAYS been able to
change tire pressures in NASCAR during Pit stops.  Try hitting

F5 and use the  < >  keys to alter the pressure for a given tire.

You can hit F5.  Then hit the < key and it will change the pressure down.

You can change tire pressure in NASCAR. Select the F5 screen and the
spacebar to advance the yellow highlight around to the tire you want to
change. Press <> keys to change the pressure. Also, Enter key will toggle
whether to change a particular tire.

: Good Grief, as CB would say,

You don't understand that usenet is not an simultaneous conversation.
Just because you see something at 4:00 on Tuesday the 22nd, doesn't mean
someone in Hong Kong has even received the same message in their
newsgroup.  Why would anyone want to waste the time to answer a question
that was already answered correctly?  They don't and they aren't.  They
had not received the responses yet.  What do you expect us to do?  Not
answer when we don't see a response?  Just assuming that someone else
must have already posted an answer, it just hasn't got to my ISP yet?

Besides, there are ALOT of readers out there who just read this
newsgroup.  A few may even post once 'n awhile.  Some of them ain't
experts at the sim in question.  But, hey this is one they could answer.
It was their chance to contribute to the community.  They were gonna
feel good about helping another r.a.s.'er out with their problem.

Your response to this was to***on the parade.  But, I am sure you
didn't mean to.  usenet is not AOL or Prodigy or CompuServe, where
everybody gets the chance to see all of the messages and replies as they
are created.  It can take a long time for a newsgroup message to snake
its way across the country or the globe.  If you ever saw the
"infrastructure" of the internet, you'd be surprised that it even works.

Internet 101 class is dismissed.  For your homework research the first
true "internet" structure.

Whoa, calm down :) I just got an email on this and now I understand a
bit better about how it is out there. In fact I told him that I
figured I'd be setting myself up for a mild barbiqueing.

snip again_______

I can certainly relate to that, I remember how good it felt to get the
proverbial warm/fuzzy feeling (no smart-a$$ remarks please) the first
time I actualy passed along some useful info.

Snip______#3

Uhmm, hmmm, I admit I goofed. Would it help if I bought everyone a
virtual umbrella :).
Having not experienced too much by way of delays except for the
mysterious vanishing posts from my "non-filtering" server I had no
idea that things weren't as fast as I figured. Should have though,
having started with bbs surfing and with the connection probs on my
server I can definetly see where the net is probably much like a house
of cards in a huricane.

Snip------(dang, scissors got dull)

What do I get if I get an A? :)
Thanks for the enlightenment, fells good to actualy communicate
instead of throwing gas on someone elses fire for a change.
