My website for N2002 ( a test for me)

Hello all. I have been playing with a trial version of FrontPage, just to
get an idea of what it is all about. I made a web site for N2002. It's
mainly a listing of links, but they are broken down by category in order to
find what you need quickly. It would figure about a week after I came up
with this layout, www.simlinks.com would be introduced - lol.

I also have included a message board, setups by N2002 driver, Schraderfan,
my N2002 car files for myself and my father, *starman*, and a page on my
real racing family. I will soon have a page up for severe weather, mainly
hurricanes (something that causes a little concern here in Eastern North
Carolina (USA) :).

The main reason I'm posting this here is to welcome any comments and
criticisms in order to help my web building skills. I haven't posted here
much, but I check here every day. I know that there are few punches pulled
here. :) Please stop by and feel free to send me an e-mail or post to the
message board with any links that you like that I should include or any
suggestions to improve the navigation, layout, etc. It will be a
"trial-and-error" work in progress that I hope will be a reference point for
N2002 simmers and maybe more racing sims as well (Racing Legends? We can
only hope). Thanks.

> Hello all. I have been playing with a trial version of FrontPage....

After reading this part I feared the worst, but unlike Andre you've
managed to create a web site that works with something besides IE, in my
case Opera, that's a start :-)

I'm no expert on web design, so I'll leave the tech comments to others,
but from a personal POV, I'd prefer it if you "calmed down" the design a
little, yellow lettering on a white (ish) background for instance makes
it hard to read, subtle things tend to work best for me, but hey, you're
an American and a Nascar fan so I guess you want it to be as
"loud" as possible :-)

Oh, and thx for the link :-)

Beers and cheers

Uncle Goy, you know The Pits is one of the first places simmers need to
check. ;)

Thanks for the input. The design (colors, schemes, etc ) was the biggest
part of the site I mulled over. I wasn't sure if multi-colored was the way
to go, or if having black font throughout (except for items that I wanted to
stand out) was the choice I needed. It will get better. :) I don't want to
make the too loud and scare away anyone <hehe>. Again, thanks for the
comments. Keep up the great work over there, too.
