I wouldn't care what the man did, if he'd been talking about the US -
US citizens can decide for themselves whether they approve of that. But
he was speaking on issues that affect the UK (eg the UN, GM food,
International Criminal Court, NMD), so I have a right to my opinion
And you have a right to think I'm a fool.
Why? If Blair came on your telly and made remarks about the US,
wouldn't you want your say? And as far as I'm concerned, anyone who
wants to is free to make remarks about our politicians - no point in
being insular. (I can just see Bruce rushing in to say, "well, Great
Britain *has* to be insular, doesn't it? <g>)
