You probably already know this, but teams didn't pit in 79 unless there
was some sort of problem.

In addition to that, I'm not really sure there's a way to increase tire
wear for "aliens" since chances are they're not sliding the car around
or locking brakes or generating wheelspin like most non-aliens do.

Hi Jason,

we tried some runs at 4x last night, and it seems like tyre wear for
race tyres isn't even modelled (at 10x, qualis die after half a lap, but
at 4x, race tyres are still shiny after 20 laps).

Thanks for your comments, looks like we'll have to go for fuel usage
then if we want to force a pit stop (and yes, I was made aware meantime
that in 1979, there were no pitstops ;-)
