Thanks for the pointer to the press release -- I hadn't seen that one.  The
one name mentioned at LBE is Rick Moncrief, what it doesn't say is that
Rick headed the group at Atari Coin-Op that did Hard Drivin' and the
follow-on, Race Drivin'.  There are a bunch of ex-Atari folks on the LBE
staff...  you might call Silicon Motor Speedway the next step toward
reality, well beyond arcade games.

The site is next to Tony Roma's restaurant and it's open sporadically
while the bugs are worked out, in preparation for the public opening
early Sept.

What ever happened to their San Diego site?  AFAIK, it was up
and running about 6-months ago, but shut-down for something or
other (maintenance, move, etc?).

It sounds cool...should have to try..
but I am 16 and have an even uniquer opportunity..I own a stock car that
I race at a local speedway..nothing in the world compares to
that....beating and banging, fighting for control..it is a RUSH!

 Let me tell you something little justin,you dont beat and bang                
      on racecars ive been work on one for last 5yr turning wrenches          
      and beating out sheetmetal its not all that fun go home and having to
 work on the car the hole week just to make next weekends race ,and it gets
very expen$. I dont know what class your in but i hope its a grochery getter  
 ( bang um up car) We run the Latemodel stock  (Nascar sanction track)
