I just read that you have to do a few laps to get heat in the tires...
ignore previous post please....

I think the grip is ok, but it still seems to suffer from the same thing
that the Formula 1 cars did in this game: once you break loose, it is almost
impossible to drive out of it ...

And don't forget to go into the root setup directory - Doug Arnao prepared
some very good base setups for the cars...

"eracer" <

All good tips...Plus..get your fps up there.  The more fps you can get, I
think the better the grip will feel.

Also Mike, remember to load one of Doug's setups from the root setup folder.
Some of the hdv defaults are poor.

I keep seeing mention of these but I can't find them for the life of me.
Can you please tell me the EXACT path where they are?

Thanks!
Todd

In the game go to the setup screens(press the wrench icon.)  Then look
for the folder icon and press that.  you will now see a list of folders for
each track.  some have default setups in them, some don't.   At the very top
of the track list is an unnamed folder without an icon.
just a dot.   .
clik on that...alot fo Doug's setups are there.  If you find one you like,
load it...and THEN go back to your original track folder...like Silverstone
and SAVE it there.  from now on you will only have to go to track folder to
get that saved file.

Doug recently posted a zip file with his set ups at the official forum.  It
will unzip all the set-ups into the proper track folders.
