Check their news page - they're bringing us an N4 track (unless I'm very
mistaken) apparently within the next few days.

Anyone able to make out what track it is from the photo? I don't think it's
from GPL... could it be brands? or could it be completely new. I can barely
remember what all of the bullrun fantasy N2 track looked like but I bet that
would be a blast in N4.

I keep having this vision of 43 stock cars taking a rolling start down into
eau rouge... one day maybe soon..? :-D

Looks like St. Jovite, a GPL track also built by the US Pits

Fwiu, the Bullrun track will NOT make it to N4.  We recently ran our Last
Bullrun 1000 race,,,raised money for the World Trade Towers releif fund...we
had about a dozen drivers online over two days racing about 3.5 hours each
for the 181 laps that made up the Bullrun.  The Bullrun has been a great
event, but now that at least for the near future The TPTCC league is
switching over to the Nascar Heat mod of DTM racers, the Bullrun may be
dead.  We raced the last two years on the Flat Bull (Bullrun 2000) track
that had the two big 'dega' turns reduced to turns with near Pocono banking.
Your best bet for tracks being converted will be those made my Mr. Noonan.
So tracks Like Brands, the Oring and probably most of the originals will
make it to N4.  I have already seen videos of Monoco and Zanvoort so they
are making progress.    I would think the vast majority of homemade tracks
won't be attempted by Noonan and the Pits.

Are we to presume Noonan will again breach all 3rd party sim community
standards and charge for his convertor?  Whilst it may take him a very long
time to make - it also takes other people a very long time to make their own
3rd party add ons - yet they do not charge a penny.

Further more - It would not supprise me if other 3rd party tracks from GPL
will not make it to N4 as Noonan saw it fit to convert some GPLEA tracks to
N3 in the past without their prior consent

Thanks for the effort - but he can keep the methodology

Guess you have it in for David for some reason Doug, too bad, he's a
nice bloke, but I can't see him losing sleep over it, what's worse is
the fact you make yourself look incredibly stupid talking about things
you don't know anything about

Hmmm...breaching the 3rd party sim community standards.  I see, you are now
the Governor over all Sim Community Standards!  I wish someone had told me,
I had no idea that we now had some as an overseer for these elusive standards.
Perhaps we should have consulted you first before releasing this track, to insure
that all bylaws were being met.

FYI...David Noonan has been involved in tons of 3rd party additions that you
got free of charge, I would bet that almost all Papyrus newly-built tracks (GPL, N3)
have had 3doEdit used on them in some form or fashion...yet you rarely see his name
in the credits for this.  Oh, WAIT!  3doEdit was release free of charge!  We're
going to have to stop letting these things slip through the cracks.

This track that is being release was an effort solely with Gilles Benoit and David
Noonan, and you'll be able to download it, FREE OF CHARGE!  However,
maybe we should rethink this and charge people for it.  Or at least you...

Since you didn't read any of our responses for this, I think you should abdicate
the Governorship of Sim Community Standards.  The converter must have an
installed track, downloaded from the site *that made it*, for the converter to
work.  None of the files from those 3rd party editors pieces are in the converter,
it modifies files from the installed track to work.  The only reason it would not
converter ANY track as opposed to SOME tracks is because David felt that
people would attempt to convert any GPL track to N3, and most GPL tracks
will not work in N3 without some modification...which would lead to problems
except for people who can modify tracks.  Therefore, only tracks that David had
provided some "hand massaging" to could be converted.

Why I'm explaining this I have no idea, as you obviously didn't get it the first time

But wait...this was released FREE OF CHARGE!  Doh!  I guess David slipped again.

No problem.  And we'll also keep the track to ourselves, shall we?
Next time you want to come to ***, carry some ammunition.  I've got plenty.

Hehehe, I think I can carefully balance what I need with what I have to pay
for.  If I feel it's not necessary, I won't pay for it because I don't need
it.  I'm no pseudo-capitalist hypocrite that downloads illegal MP3's, etc...

<yet another list below>

THE "TWO-COW EXPLANATION" OF WHAT MAKES....

....A CHRISTIAN:
You have two cows. You keep one and give one to your neighbor.

....A SOCIALIST;
You have two cows. The government takes one and gives it to your
neighbor.

....A REPUBLICAN:
You have two cows. Your neighbor has none.  So what?

....A DEMOCRAT:
You have two cows.  Your neighbor has none. You feel guilty for being
successful.    You vote people into office who tax your cows, forcing
you to
sell one to raise money to pay the tax. The people you voted for then
take the
tax money and buy a cow and give it to your neighbor.  You feel
righteous.

....A COMMUNIST:
You have two cows. The government seizes both and provides you with
milk.

....A FASCIST:
You have two cows. The government seizes both and sells you the milk.
You join
the underground and start a campaign of sabotage.

....DEMOCRACY, AMERICAN STYLE:
You have two cows. The government taxes you to the point you have to
sell both
to support a man in a foreign country who has only one cow, which was
a gift
from your government.

....CAPITALISM, AMERICAN STYLE:
You have two cows. You sell one, buy a bull, and build a herd of cows.

....BUREAUCRACY, AMERICAN STYLE:
You have two cows. The government takes them both, shoots one, milks
the other,
pays you for the milk, then pours the milk down the drain.

....AN AMERICAN CORPORATION:
You have two cows. You sell one, and force the other to produce the
milk of four
cows. You are surprised when the cow drops dead.

....A FRENCH CORPORATION:
You have two cows. You go on strike because you want three cows.

....A JAPANESE CORPORATION:
You have two cows. You redesign them so they are one-tenth the size of
an
ordinary cow and produce twenty times the milk.

....A GERMAN CORPORATION:
You have two cows. You reengineer them so they live for 100 years, eat
once a
month, and milk themselves.

....AN ITALIAN CORPORATION:
You have two cows but you don't know where they are. You break for
lunch.

....A RUSSIAN CORPORATION:
You have two cows. You count them and learn you have five cows. You
count them
again and learn you have 42 cows. You count them again and learn you
have 12
cows. You stop counting cows and open another bottle of vodka.

....A MEXICAN CORPORATION:
You think you have two cows, but you don't know what a cow looks like.
You take
a nap.

....A SWISS CORPORATION:
You have 5000 cows, none of which belongs to you. You charge for
storing them
for others.

....A BRAZILIAN CORPORATION:
You have two cows. You enter into a partnership with an American
corporation.
Soon you have 1000 cows and the American corporation declares
bankruptcy.

....AN INDIAN CORPORATION:
You have two cows. You worship them.

....A TALIBAN
You have two cows. You turn them loose in the Afghan "countryside" and
they both
die. You blame the godless American infidels.
