Hi!

I just thought i might give GPL another try and bought the original
game, german version.
After installation, when i start the game i see a black screen with the
GPL logo, some disclaimer taxt and ther version number in the lower
right corner. That's all that happens. Then the whole PC is frozen. Only
the reset button will help.
When installing the game, i used the software drivers to be on the safe
side. Didn't help though....
My configuration is: PIII-500, 256 MB RAM, Diamond Viper 550 (TNT2),
Win98.

Any hints how to solve this problem?

I went out and bought GPL because so many folks in RAS rave about it.
Never could get the darn thing to stop randomly locking up. Biggest
waste of ten bucks ever.
The only time I use the GPL cd is when I tape it to my forehead, when
the wife and I are playing "the doctor and the *** nurse'.

LOL at the doctor remark :)
Let me guess - 3dfx user? a glide2x.dll version released shortly after
the release of GPL causes the random lockups - mail me if you still
want to have the correct dll file.

"GPL biggest waste of ten bucks ever".. jeez :)
