A minor bug with the new release of Hawaii.. But still the best MP game out!

When I logged on to play Hawaii last night, the system politely downloaded
2 zip files for me to decompress.  I did that then rebooted my computer.
When I got back into the scheduling room everything was fine.  I selected
a race that was "practicing" and found that when the system should have
been pulling up the game, it kicked my back to the scheduling room.  It
gave me no error messages of any kind.  I figured I'd try with a race that
was not started yet, so joined as the final racer at Atlanta.  The same
thing happened again.  I tried to ask if anyone else was experiencing this
problem and saw that 1 other person was.  Unfortunately, the only advice
was "Wow, that's wierd... doesn't happen to me."  So I tried to join
another race that was practicing and It loaded up just fine.  No problems
switching to a race occured in the next 3 races.

For Ed:
I am running with this system:
p-133
AMI bios
16m RAM
512 cache
Diamond Stealth V64 w/2m VRAM
I have win95 but am running with a boot to dos setup.  I don't encounter
any problems at all and haven't until this little issue.

P.S.  please don't flame me Ed... I'm running as the Readme.txt suggests;)
