Ferrari develop satellite booster!

LOL! I wrote just yesterday that I had a similar experience at Watkins Glen not
long ago when I parked my car in the pits and suddenly the engine exploded
(why, I don't know) and the car shot into the air, spun ***ly for some
time, and landed just inside Big Bend. GPL's got some great vehicle physics,
but it's flight physics are something else entirely!

I didn't save it but rest assured that if it happens again I certainly will.

I hadn't experienced this sort of behaviour since the "release" of the
amazing beta version of GPL back in July 1998.  With that edition it was a
common thing to see cars exploding, screaming into orbit and sitting 300
feet up just spinning like some strange form of UFO.

That's why I was so startled to see it happen now.

Ferrari develop satellite booster!

Hmm, sounds like fun.  Any idea where I might get my hands on a copy of the
beta of GPL?  I've gotten cars to fly pretty well in the full version, but I
HAVE to see this!  :)
