I just some more ram into my computer and i was wondering how GPL does use
this .
Does it improve the framerates?

I'm not sure about any frame-rate gains.... but it will allow you to record
longer replays.. - as long as you remember to update that
"replay_memory_override" thingy in the core.ini file. The setting is in kb
so if you want to use 128mb or so of memory you must set it to 128000. I
would leave atleast 64mb or the memory "free" for GPL and Windows to use.
