Boy this just ain't my day. I have all the latest updates for windows
media player, but it just sits there trying to
connect......connecting....connnecting....sure hope it's a good movie...of
Course with TPTCC Ace Jan driving, it ought to be...somewhere he has a short
replay of using a GPL drift through the inner loop at watkins glenn, with a
N3 car. (which I 'thought' couldn't be slid like that)

Try pressing the Alt key when clicking on the link. That should bring up
the Save As dialog instead of opening the Media Player.

Yep, that should do it, or right click and "save as", for those with
problems running this in Win2000, I had to upgrade to Mediaplayer8.0
along with the DivX codec to make it run properly here on my machine

Mine said that too. Looking at my network hub lights though, there was
activity. The movie is downloading even though MP says 'connecting'; just
give it time.

A Divx movie has to be downloaded completly before it starts.
I dont know about the Windows Mediaplayer file thingy (wmv).

A privately crafted update for N4 which should have been created by N4s
creator Papyrus as part of an expansion package for their growing "Legends"
franchise, the premier release of which is GPL3, except for the fact that
Sierra insists that their releases prove profitable.

Oh please. Papyrus exists to make profit, don't ever forget that. They

got it...finally thanks all...I had divx but had to re-install
it....first attempt I got the music only.
then after re-doing the divx install, the picture worked too.

How do you get the Codec for Windows Media Player? I went to divx.com and it
does an install, but doesn't work.

The site gives me a n4.avi file, nothing else. The only thing that plays is
the music.

Windows XP Pro...

I was always told to use the 1.3 version of divx. There is a newer one
but that 'according to they that know' is buggy...so use the older version.
Then go to the folder you unzip it and choose the REGISTER divx file.
that will install it. I had the same problem, music with the car sound but
no picture until I did the above. Good luck
