And *** are selling it at 29.99 bundled with the DOS/W95/Mac version
of ICR2 !! Not that I really needed another version of ICR2, but it's
nice to have the latest version on a single CD rather than needing ti
keep the parches as well.

Cheers,
Richard

Good in theory, but Papyrus, in their infinite wisdom, put buggy
versions on the second ICR2 CD and *both* the DOS and Win95 versions
had patches issued within a month of release.  :(

Mind you, I'm not complaining that they put patches out *quickly*,
particularly after the eight month wait for the original ICR2 patch.
My point is that the DOS version *should* have been pretty well
debugged in that eight month period.  Why is the final release buggy
and require a patch?!?  For the life of me, I just can't understand
that...

Pick one or more: Model Rockets (competition-NERCB) / PCs (even Atari!) /
Papyrus ICR-ICR2-NCR / Who needs a life when you have multiple non-lives?

As far as what Sierra is doing out here, they're bundling ICR(1) with N2,
not the other way around....ICR2, even though buggy at times, is still a
$50 game.  I'll bet if you check, you'll find it was actually ICR(1).

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the info - I kind of left ICR2 pretty much alone after GP2
came out and had lost track of the patches. I've now downloaded them.

Same here. I seem to remember at the time that it looked like all the
effort had been put into getting the W95 & Mac versions done that
actually fixing the DOS bugs for those who had paid for their games 8
months previously was almost an afterthought :(

Cheers,
Richard

Hello Marc,

It is ICR2, with a sticker on it stating that it includes the recent Win95
version.  I think I'll have to buy it and offload my original ICR2 CD for
5.00!
