Internet World SportsCar Championship (IWSC) 2001:

The IWSC is an offline racing league which uses NASCAR Racing 3 from Papyrus
to
simulate a SportsCar World Championship. It`s free for everyone who would
like to join it.
The series has different kind of tracks on its schedule: Roadcourses
converted from
ICR2 (Laguna Seca), converted tracks from GPL (Road Atlanta, Monza, Imola,
O-Ring, Brands Hatch,
Snetterton, Kyalami, Spa, Zandvoort), original tracks from N3 (C***te,
Daytona) and newly
designed tracks (Desert Winds Speedway, Sebring).
We have two classes: The WSC-Class and a GT-Class. The WSC will run races
with 100% opps.
strength and the GT-Class will run races with 98%.
Both series are using different kinds of carbodies, which are currently in
the works.

Registration is now open, you can sign-up at anytime, even if the season has
already started.
The first race will be at Sebring on June 3rd 2001.

It IS possible. We already have used some of the tracks from GPL:

The Glen
Snetterton
Brands Hatch
O-Ring
Crystal Palace

I also have an unreleased version of Road Atlanta. The tracks I have tested
so far are absolutly great. The Pits (www.theuspits.com) are currently
working on a full converter, whch should be finished soon.

Sure,  the tptcc has been doing it for over a year now.
We had the Oring and Brands last year, Snetterdon this winter, all
sorts...the
hand made tracks are usually very easy to convert...the prepackaged game
tracks are tougher and they have some issues that can't, in some cases, be
overcome,
like the hairpin at Rouen/monaco and the extreme elevation changes of the
Ring.
I also thought Spa was not gonna be do-able but it looks like they figured
it out.
now...for the rest of youse ....I would recomend paying attention to the
uspits
sometime soon...I smell a free convertor on the way...

If I remember it correct this is the list of tracks that willbe converted
with the upcoming converter:

Silverstone
Monza
Kyalami
Spa
Solitude
Goodwood
Crystal
Brands Hatch
Oring
Imola
Zandvoort
Road Atlanta
Mosport

This means: NO Monaco, NO Rouen, NO Nuerburgring and NO Mexico...
