Anyone watching the TDF in the U.S. on the Outdoor Life Network? Do they
show more mother f**king commercials than they do the race?

Just do what I do; tape the live show and FF through all the commercials and
dull bits when you watch it (same for most programs,actually).  Glad to have
it though, warts and all.  Remember the previous NBC/ESPN efforts, hosted by
various airheaded football/baseball oafs, that were about 70% pre-produced
fluff, and 30% actual race coverage?  ;-)

Ditto.

I understand that they probably have to run lots of commercials  to pay for
the rights to broadcast but that doesn't mean I'm gonna watch 'em.

I've been doing that on occasion. Still though, they are going to commercial
break every five minutes. That's beyond ridiculous.
