impression. I am thinking of buying one but not sure if it is worth the
cash. Should I wait for the next version or make the plunge.

1) Pedal throw is too short, however if you have a T2 pedals laying around
its an easy fix.
2) Its a bit um, sloppy in GPL. I think its more due to GPL's directinput
implementations than the wheel itself as it works prefectly in ViperRacing
and SBK.
3) Force Feedback is a bit lighter in comparison to some others such as
Microsoft, etc.
However, I really do like the fact it has a USB input which works great.
And the latest drivers allow it to selfcenter itself (too bad GPL doesn't
pay attention to it) which is nice.

fine.
[snip even more]
I've had one for a few months now and it's holding up to a lot of driving
very
well. The pedals don't have a lot of travel but I've always raced barefoot
or
with socks on so there is plenty of control :-) They don't collect dust
like other
pedals I've used, nor do they ever move while I'm driving.
The wheel looks and feels great and the force is good. I use mine mostly
for GPL however and it's nice and accurate (if lacking 270 degree travel)
They seem to take the spikes out of the signal from the pot so you get nice
steady numbers on the calibration screen. USB is nice as well because
you can leave another joystick in the game port for Falcon 4 :-)
Anyway - just my experience.
