Are these all pictures of video screens? Some of these look like they have
been passed through a photoshop "watercolor" filter. But otherwise look
cool...

It looks like they've done away with the "wide" aspect view of GPL.

Technically, the nature itself of racing under a closed-cockpit will still
give us the "widescreen" aspect.

Well, the***pit can crop the top and bottom of the screen, but it
isn't the same as having a wider peripheral view.
That's one of the aids I think is important in a driving sim, since
you can't just peer out of the corner of your eye to see whats there.

The mirrors in N3 showed you what was beside you, but it'd be nice if
you didn't have to rely on them so much.
I thought GPL's wide aspect view helped in that sense.
Not a huge deal, but I still think it's a step backwards.

I don't necessarily think the forward view is really that much wider in
GPL, it may have the illusion of that due to the aspect ratio.

Scroll down to the "Grand Prix Legends' Blind Spots" section at the
following URL to see how BIG the blind spots are in GPL.  Thanks to the
mirrors in N2/3, the area of blind spots is greatly reduced.
