I saw a Minatures Catalog the other day, it had plenty of Ferrari's
and other F1 cars, a fairly wide selection of Audi & BMW race cars, and lots
of other ***s.  IT also had several Can Am cars including an EARLY
Chapparal and a couple of Mclaren M8's: both the low winged version and the
High Wing.  But what I found interesting was the heading;  They were
referred to as Mclaren M8x:Gurneys.  Did Dan Gurney have a technical
relationship with Bruce Mclaren?  I never heard about that.
oh btw...for a measly 5 thousand dollars, you can buy a 1/4 scale
Ferrari engine from their 2000 F1 cars.

conflicting sponsorships killed the deal.

Dashing Dan also massaged an M8B (I think) with his own brand of wizardry.
It was dubbed the "McLeagle".
