Did they improve the shifters ?

The shifters are still the same as far as I can tell from using the
new vs. the old.  Because of the stronger force feedback, I wouldn't
use them anyway.  I actually am left handed so I drive with my left
hand closer to the top of the wheel than the right.  I use highest 2
buttons on the right spoke for shifting.  Works great.
