GP3 Monza 123742 setup

GP2 setups work fine with GP3 (not surprised ;o)

It's my old 1.17.8 monza GP2 setup
Wing 5  1
gears 38 43 48 53 58 63
Brakes R 38.875 F 61.125
all other stuff to 0
excepted spring F 800 R 600
and differential : high
Front heigh  32.5
Rear height 71.5

I know it's not a realistic setup but GP3 isen't too a
realistic sim :o)

The prob at Mza is too fly over chicanes Kerbs to be in 27.xxx at the first
split.this very soft setup allows that. But it last only one fast lap (plank)
This time was done with no help (excepted undestructible mode) in "real
motion": PO betwwen 72 and 109% . In slow motion with a 300% PO , I think a
1.21 is really possible .

looks like if we were back four years ago.. (remember Nicola Della Go?a and
Joost de Winter :o)
Game is exactly the same than GP2 about hotlaps on a dry track.

I've improved to 1:23.66. First split 28.55 so 1:22 is possible(very easily)
Handling is quite different in comparison to gp2. The 88-11 setups don't
work anymore with gp3, with gp3
it's more a compromise instead of the extremes (max or min) in gp2.
BTW : car spins easier on the power(or maybe I didn't turn on the
auto-countersteer option if there is any(like in gp2), you have to react
very fast sometimes to keep the car steady.

And downshifting is different

BTW:
Did you really drive 1:17.8 with GP2. not bad. very few got into the
1:17's.
