N3 & Qualifying

AMEN!!  I've been hoping for that feature ever since N1!! Also,  make
the repairs to the car take longer so you have to enter the garage area
and can choose to stick it out 40+ laps down or drop out early.

Tim,

What's the point if you can't qualify on your own computer system. The
object is to race the AIs off line at your own skill level. So you will
always make the race. Can you see this in gpl. None of us would have made a
race at the beginning.

Joel, but in NR99 you can turn down the AI to make it where
you're more competitive and they're not so overwhelming.  Can't qual
with 97% AI? Turn it down to 94% and try again.  This way you can EASE
your way into a higher skill level.
It's like playing pool: if you try to learn how to play while
playing against the likes of Nick Varner you'll never get anywhere (or
it'll CERTAINLY take you forever); but OTOH if you play with someone
closer to your skill level you have a CHANCE and yet you learn from
their skill.
That said, I think it should be a toggleable option, but I
like it.
