Ditto here as well.  So where does Microprose get off releasing it to
the rest of the world and stiffing most of the United States?  I know
that no store in Alabama has it as of today, yet it seems like
everyone else does?  What gives?

Quite honestly, since we all have waited for this game for almost a
year, it had absolutely better blow my socks off, or Microprose is
going to hear about it from me in this group.  I think what they have
done by jerking all of us around on the release date is poor business
and borders on misrepresentation.

It better be good, Microprose.....

I called my nearest Electronics Boutique in Orange Park, FL.  Grand Prix II is
still not in the store yet (July 23rd), although his book of release dates says
that it's supposed to be out today.

Oh well.

I checked EB's website.  It says that GP2 is shipping from EB HQ on July 23rd,
with the shipment arriving in its stores 1-3 days afterward (this shipping news
as of the morning of July 23rd).  Since the EB I frequent usually gets its
games the day after the official EB shipping date, I'm guessing/hoping that
I'll have a copy of GP2 in my hands tomorrow.

Anybody know when CompuUSA is getting it? I called their stores
directly three times today; they didn't have a clue. And their
1-800-com-pusa number made me wait 1/3 hour before cutting me off---
twice.

I bought it from Walden Software this afternoon for $52. They had 3
copies.
