the promise of Racer

the promise of Racer

The thing I am looking forward to with Racer, is to have a car modeled that
I know, and then compare it to cars I don't know.  For example, I'd like to
see the car I drive modeled.  Sure its nothing special (an old 91 Honda CRX
Si), but I know it like the back of my hand.  If it felt correct in Racer,
I'd know it.  I could then compare it to other street cars, different ***
cars and even race cars that I'll never get a chance to drive, but I'd at
least have a benchmark to compare them to.

Since Racer is open for people to develop cars, this aspect is the one I am
most looking forward to.  Thanks to Rudd van Gaal.  Can't wait to see what
the future holds for Racer (just keep it away from corporate fat cats,
they'd wreck it in a second just to make a dollar.).

I drive a 91 crx. They are something special. They're very fun. They're not
a WRX or an s2000, but they're very fun, small and sporty. Plus you modify
the hell out of them. Drop a b16 in it, a turbo, etc... its a very good car.
