There is a playable demo of NFS3 on the September issue of Computer Games
Strategy Plus.  Unfortunately I don't get the CD with my subscription.  Doh!
I wish they would just release the demo, I hate those cheesy deals they do
with *** mags and demos.  I did get to play NFS3 at E3 and it is by far
the best yet in the series.

Hate to pressure you (and I hate to sound too e***d) but what made it
stand out?

I'm impressed by the Motorhead demo (I'm in the US where the full game
hasn't been released yet and I can't find an importer with it) and I
wasn't terribly impressed with NFSIISE on my 3DFX card.

I'd be interested to hear what it has to offer.

The graphics and special effects are unbelievable.  But, best of all, it
played more like the original NFS.  Which I have always preferred in the
gameplay department.  Cockpits are also back in, which were missing from the
3Dfx version of NFS2SE, and they look photorealistic.  The pursuit mode
should also be very cool.  This is what I got to play at E3.  Nothing better
than running over police tire spikes and blowing out your two front tires,
dropping the front end onto the road and sending up a shower of sparks!  The
August issue of Next Generation has a two page preview with some sweet
screenshots.

Ok - I bought half a year ago (ages for computer hardware - I know)
a Pentium 200 MMX with 3dfx. - F1RS runs smooth. Will this be enough
for NFS3?
