I have seen no complaints about the fact that the other cars don't make
any sound in GP2 except when you are in the pits and they are flying
down the straight. Is there something I'm missing or is this the case in
GP2. I cannot believe that they left this out !!!! I also don't
understand that only 1 or 2 other people have commented on this in
rec.autos.simulators. , considering all the gripes about this game.
Anyone know anything about this ????

It didn't strike me as really missing though. What I REALLY missed was
network support. I was speechless about the lack of it. Games like
Doom already had it in the Stoneage...

you are right it has no sound of other cars. When i tried ICR2 and first
heard the sound of other cars I thought it was fantastic.
About a year ago microprosse was asking for suggestions of inclusions in
GP2. Friends and I posted various realisums we would like in it one of
thes was sound. Microprosse have left off a lot of our requests. I
believe the just done what was easiest. Considering the amount of delay in
launching the package it should of all been there
