and with what kind of tire pressure ?

Just to add another variable :-)

Radials have virtually no change in circumfrance with different psi unlike a
bias ply tires.

If you're talking about unloaded tires, I agree, but I would think on a
loaded tire there would be a difference in how much the weight of the
car compresses the tire where it's in contact with the road ?

Just remember that tires are not round when mounted and on the ground.

They have about 1 foot flat spot hortizontal to the ground.  This certainly
affects stagger and since weight is different on all tires.. The flat part
varies from tire to tire from side to side.

Uhm, radius or circumference? I'd say circumference stays quite the
same in all cases, unless you calculate it as 2*PI*r. ;-)

A foot? Seems a lot!

A 1 foot tire contact area?  I highly doubt that, that tire contact patch is usually only several
inches along the circumference of the tire, and of course "most" of the width of the tire.

Ah, but having given it some thought, one could assume that it's the
"roll radius" which is important here and that changes with the pressure
in the tire ?

Not bad eh, about 30 BPS wouldn't you say ?

Both sides should be the same; stagger isn't allowed anymore.

Hmmm... I thought stagger was set / fixed / regulated by NASCAR and/or
Goodyear..  and that was why there's no point in having stagger-adjustments
in N2002/N4/N3 etc...

Have I missed something?

you will always get stagger if you have different air pressure.
