I have tried it on both serial ports and the USB port to no avail.I tried as
you suggested but it still refuses to be recognised!
The important bit of my system are as follows:
AMD Duron 800 (o/clocked 600)
Abit KT7
Hercules 3D Prophet 2 GTS (Nvidia GeForce 2 GTS 64 Meg)
Guillemot Maxi Studio ISIS
Windows Mill Edition
DirectX 7a (downgraded from 8 for compatibility)
Latest drivers for all hardware (disregarding Directx!)
Since the graphics and sound cards are both essentially Guillemot products I
would have thought it highly unlikely that they are causing conflict with
the wheel.
