Hopefully with the release of LFS next year somebody will be able to make
SODA 2, i never understood why that game was abandoned, it was an absolute
blast

From what I remember, it was an offshoot of Papyrus.  Kind-of a favor
to some friends.  It unfortunately came out just as the 3dfx card was
assuming *** in the market.  The Rendition only 3d engine was promised
a 3dfx patch but I think Sierra was really hurting from the Red Baron II 3d
debacle and wouldn't ok any more work on SODA.    It's a shame...that was
one fine physics showpiece.

Screamer 4x4 I remember being a COMPLETE stink fest! 1nsane was pretty fun,
and the physics seemed to be in the SODA territory.. really cool. Soda was a
great game now that I think about it..

The onset of 3D, dude... I actually still have that game... Somewhere.

Come to think of it... Doesn't Leadfoot kinda tread the same path?

It's still is!

The best and most easy track editor on the market, plus advanced physics
which are barely topped today.

Insane is better for online "racing" :)  Screamer 4x4 has a really simmy
single player missions where you have to negotiate gates on various
terrain, but the multiplayer is bad compared to Insane.
