Jim, do brake locks up under heavy braking in N2? See I tried to brake really
hard and turn into the pits, but the car just wouldn't turn.

I don't think that N2 has that feature. Try to lift off the brakes a bit
as you turn the car.
IN my experience, they don't until 29 mph or so.

Kyle,
The current physics model in N2 does NOT support the locking up of the
brakes, the new physics model that Papy is working on will support it.

Maybe it does why else would he go staight when he was trying to turn and
had heavy brakes on. In real life if you lock the brakes and try to turn
you ain't going to turn. Just my thought. Good answer though lift the
brakes alittle ( SMILE )
Thanks
I've never heard anywhere that the you can lock up the brakes in N2, and I
don't think that you can. I could be wrong, though. To a certain extent,
the same thing happens in N1 and ICR2, but you cannot lock up the brakes
there. My guess is that the understeer is caused by the speed he is going
at or because of the weight transfer going on. I suggested that he should
ease off the brakes so that there isn't all that understeer, but that the
weight shift is still significant enough to give the front tires enough
grip to turn the car.

Hit reverse. Be careful, it will come 'round on ya dang fast.

You could exceed the traction capability of the tires even
without actually locking the wheels. IMHO, the lack of brake feedback
(could be sound based) is the least realistic part of the sims. I'd want
force feedback their before I'd want it for steering.
