GTR Evolution SecuROM problems

My computer has been set up to work with a steering wheel. The main
monitor is used for the wheel, a secondary monitor is used for
ordinary tasks when I'm lying down. To switch between my two
monitors, I use Windows display properties, setting the other
monitor active and primary, and disabling the current monitor. That
neatly pushes everything on my desktop to the other monitor.
Unfortunately, apparently the SecuROM protection sees that as an
attempt to pirate the software.

Oooh, swear words in a public forum. I guess that helps us to tell the real
men from the little boys.

.. To switch between my two

Would it help to install it from the main monitor? Then the software
wouldn't see a change of hardware. Just a thought.

Not sure if the following stuff works with SecuROM protected versions.
I might check that too (like if I'm not having enough fun with the
stuff that works and I feel like messing with it).

... my big monitor is connected to video card output number one (as
shown in Windows display properties)

... just uninstalling the game did not work, I had to delete Windows
and replace it with a hidden copy of Windows (most people would have
to reinstall Windows)

... yes, installed the game using the big monitor as primary

Apparently if the big monitor is switched back to primary, things
work. Otherwise I get a big red OUT OF RANGE error.

Yea, like the crack I downloaded for a game the other day that was actually
an exe file and contained a trojan. Luckily gamecopyworld provides plenty
of servers so was able to get the real file from another server.
